At Iron Will Barbell, we believe that strength is the foundation of physical fitness. Our training facility was built around this belief. At our gym you will find more squat racks than treadmills, more barbells than machines, and more 45lb plates than you’ll ever need. We eat, sleep and breath strength training. We have many different makes and types of barbells including but not limited to: 3 Rogue Ohio Power Bars, 2 Rogue Ohio bars, Rogue Trap Bar, EliteFTS SS YOKE bar, EliteFTS American Cambered Bar, York Power Bar, and Omni Fitness Power and Deadlift bars. As we grow, so will our list of barbells. I promise you that, because we love barbells.
We have several strongman implements including but not limited to: Atlas stones, farmers handles, kegs, yoke, prowler sled, an axle bar, and heavy tires. Before the gym opens we will be adding at a minimum a 12” log and several sandbags.
As mentioned above, we have several different varieties of Power Bars including Rogue Ohio Power bars which are the most common barbell in powerlifting competitions. We also have a beautiful set of Rogue Calibrated Competition Plates. 309 Kilos worth, to be exact. At this time, we do not have a Combo Rack or a Monolift. Our apologies to any powerlifters, you’ll have to bench and squat out of a rack, for now…
At Iron Will Barbell, we have plenty of squat racks, utility benches, adjustable benches, plyometric boxes, fixed EZ curl bars and dumbbells to go around. Oh by the way, our dumbbells go up to 150lbs. Additionally, we have a T-bar row, leg press, a leg extension/leg curl machine, a lat pulldown/low row, a Westside Reverse Hyperextension machine, a Rogue Glute/Ham developer(GHD), a back extension machine and several other specialty devices.
Yes, we do cardio. Everyone needs to eat their vegetables right? If strength is the steak, cardio is the spinach. We generally like to use strongman implements for conditioning, because it’s more fun than way. We will however, have a couple of treadmills and an assault bike in the gym.
We plan on being a 24 hour facility with staffing during the day Monday through Friday.
